With the kit, you will therefore also receive instructions on how to create your own Bespoke Monastery Facial at home and discover how to combine different formulas.

Inside the Ritual 🪶

Start with Rose as a gentle oil cleanse. For a creamier cleansing experience, you can mix Rose with Aloe.

Next, combine XX + Gold in a 1:1 ratio for an exfoliating mask and let it sit for 3 to 5 minutes.

While the mask does its work, massage Lapiz into your shoulders and arms for a little botanical body moment.

Then, remove the mask with a damp cloth and massage Rei into the skin.

Finish your facial with Flora + Attar for extra moisture & glow.

Conclude the full ritual with Universal Balm on your hands.

Monastery is het botanical skincare brand van Athena Hewett, master esthetician, herbalist en formulator uit San Francisco. Haar liefde voor natuurlijke huidverzorging begon al jong op de Griekse Cycladen, waar haar grootmoeder olie uit haar eigen olijfgaard perste en botanicals zoals salie, kamille en rozemarijn verwerkte in eenvoudige huidrituelen.

Na jaren als esthetician te hebben gewerkt, ontstond Monastery vanuit Athena's overtuiging dat skincare niet ingewikkelder hoeft te worden om beter te zijn. Ze combineerde haar kennis van de huid met haar fascinatie voor botanicals, aromatherapy en perfumery, en ontwikkelde een kleine, doordachte collectie waarin resultaat en sensorialiteit samenkomen.

Voor haar formules zoekt Monastery wereldwijd naar uitzonderlijke plantaardige oliën, bloemenextracten en aromatische botanicals, vaak rechtstreeks bij kleine producenten. Sommige ingrediënten zijn zo bijzonder en beperkt beschikbaar dat ze normaal vooral in hoogwaardige parfumerie worden gebruikt.

Elk product wordt in kleine batches in-house geformuleerd, geproduceerd en met de hand gegoten in het Monastery-lab in San Francisco. Van de texturen en natuurlijke aroma's tot het moment waarop je ze op je huid aanbrengt: skincare wordt zo meer dan een routine. Het wordt een ritual.
